Here we are looking along the upstairs back corridor towards the eastern end of the building.

This entire section of the building was not part of the original plan, and was added during the 1954 rebuilt. The low roof over the corridor reflects a flat roof above, whereas the rest of the floor to the right is under a full pitched roof.

The corridor opens out ahead, just as the ground-floor corridor does.

The corner of the wall on the left is the entrance to the staircase.
